Yesterday we left Bellingham to visit friends and family in Twin Falls, Idaho. Last night we stayed with Jessa's uncle Jim in Walla Walla, half way between Bellingham and Twin Falls. They were excited to see Eliot, and he was glad to be out of his car seat for a while. We went to "Merchant's" with Levi, Jessa's cousin, and hung out at a park in downtown Walla Walla before leaving. Here's Jessa and Eliot at Merchant's:

The drive from Walla Walla to Twin Falls was nice. We took a scenic highway through Oregon and stopped to enjoy the view:

Our next stop was in Baker City, where we had lunch and ice cream at Charlie's Ice Cream Shop. A photographer from the Seattle Post-Intellegencer took pictures of us enjoying our ice cream cones and told us that he was doing a feature on Baker City as a weekend getaway. (You Seattle folk should keep your eyes peeled for a photo Eliot and company in the P-I!) We visited Mark and Melissa Kessler in Boise for a little while and had coffee and milk. (I had the coffee, and Eliot had the milk.) After leaving Boise, it was a short drive to Twin Falls, where Aunt Sarah met Eliot in the driveway and welcomed us. It was a good day.
